The Solution: A New Election

Those who have heard Mwai Kibaki's response to Raila Odinga's statement that he is willing to negotiate with Kibaki through an international mediator, should know that Kenya's illegitimate President will do anything to avoid a new election. 
 
  Kibaki refuses to negotiate until the violence ends.  Again, we must ask: WHAT IF THE VIOLENCE NEVER ENDS?

Answer: KIBAKI WILL BE DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALLOWING VIOLENCE TO ESCALATE IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN HIS GRIP ON AN ILLEGITIMATE PRESIDENCY.

The baffling logic of would-be dictator Mwai Kibaki is on display. The only way to understand this kind of logic is to understand the agenda behind it.

  Kenya and its friends must rally behind a new election.  It is the only truly democratic avenue to peace.
