MOI must clear himself of all corruption related accusations

Dear Wuon Abila,
I would kindly request for just a small section of your editorial page to relay my opinion that I believe is of utmost importance and relevance to Kenyans.

I have been keenly following the debate of whether Moi should stand trial or be served to give evidence in a number if corruption related cases, I believe that the retired President as a Kenyan and having categorically stated that 'Kenya must be a corruption free country [zero tollerance to corruption]'. It's just good that he appoints his lawyers, book an appointment with the Anti Corruption Police or the Goldenberg Commission of enquiry and give information to the authorities of all corruption cases he know so as to clear himself of all the murk else Kenyans will continue blaming him.

And again He must desist from employing 'cow boys' like Kenyatta, Gideon and Kilonzo to speak for him, as a statesman and a respectable leader he must speak for himself and also desist from warning Kenyans of consequences if he's charged of corruption.

Uhuru and Moi must stop ramming our throats with LEAVE MOI ALONE.

Finally let him answer the following questions amongst others to Kenyans?

1.    Why is his family members mentioned adversely in all corruption cases?
2.    Can he deny that he ordered Chahonyo to deposit money into Eurobank and other orders.
3.    Why did he appoint people who had corruptly plundered parastatals into high profile positions? etc

Moi having admitted that corruption was a disease in the country, why did it let it go un unabated without taking any practical measures.

He must be ready to clear the air for Kenyans before we give him any respect and the KANU parliamentarians must know that corruption is corruption and must be treated as such, if the Italian Prime Minister Mr Berlusconi could be dragged to court to answer corruption related charges then why not a retired Kenyan president.

I'm wondering.
