We are non-profit making organisation working around the Lake Victoria region and more so along the beaches,in Kenya. We have been carrying out lots of activities on our own. We now feel like inviting interns to work with us. It is with this in mind that we are requesting for your assistance. Kindly post this our advert in your server. We would appreciate. Rabuor Comunity Education and Self Help Centre is a Non-profit making community program that aims at Empowering widows, orphans and other vulnerable Community members. We believe in mentorship and initiating sustainable development programs for our members. Our home based care program for those living with HIV/AIDS has picked up so well. We work with Africa Women of Empowerment, Junior Rotary Club Members,Churches and other groups.

We are seeking 4-6 Interns (men and women aged 18 and above ) residing outside Kenya and are ready to reside in Kenya for the internship period to work with the orphans and widows in Kisumu, Kenya. Specific duties include: Working with orphans to plan and coordinate orphan support programs

-Conducting volunteer outreach
-Assisting with office tasks,
Raising support for the orphans and widows
-Looking for sponsors for the orphans
-Conducting trainings on health/Gender for widows

Desired qualifications:
A demonstrated interest in women's issues, rights and African development; personable manner and comfort navigating a group environment; highly-organized with attention to detail; strong writing skills; Word experience.

-The Internships are voluntary positions.

Minimum Requirements:
-An investment of at least 8 hours per week is required for the internship program.
-Can volunteer for 3 to 6 months but there is a possibility to extend the Internship.
