Kibaki regime would have fallen if not for Kikuyuism

From: Kichwa Mbaya - Wed, Apr 05, 9:09 AM

Whenever Kenyattaa's hold on power was shaky he organized oath taking among kikuyus to protect him. Kenyattaa only needed GEMA, the wealthy kiuks, and the powerfull presidency to keep a hold on power. Moi needed something extra, he needed the single party state, lots of money and the powerful presidency. Kibaki has GEMA, and some money, but he does not have the single party and some presidential powers has been eroded by free media, and multi-party. His wish list was to control Narc and to enhance the power of the presidency but those two failed. What kibaki has left now is the Kikuyuism and some money.

The reason why kikuyism has been dangerous for Kenya is because it has been used negatively to supress other Kenyans by both Kenyattaa and Kibaki. Kibaki is staying on power today because Kiuks have circled the wagon. They may not have enough numbers to elect a president but they have enough numbers and money to keep a rogue president in power so long as he is a fellow Kiuk. If Kibaki was from any other tribe his presidency would have ended with the referendum.

Although kiuks are known to be very arrogantly critical of luo support of Raila, it is interesting to note that the Luo support for Raila/jaromogi has had a beneficial effect on all Kenyans. The issues that luos have rallied around Raila/jaramogi include, the fight to release Kenyattaa from Jail, the multi-party fight, the fight to remove Moi, the fight to support Bomas, the struggle against Wako draft, the struggle for opening the democratic space. These struggles are not only beneficial to luos but to all Kenyans. Compare that to Kikuyus, rally around Kenyattaa in his draconian rule of kenya, Kikuyu rally around Matiba to break up Ford and prolong the Moi rule, the kikuyu rally around Kibaki to impose the Wako draft which would have been a disaster for all Kenyans freedoms, and the current kikuyu rally around kibaki to protect his failed presidency.

Thank God Kenyans have woken up and smelt the coffee as they demonstrated during the referendum. Kenyans really isolated Kikuyus because of their Kikuyuism.

It will be very very very difficult for Kenyans to accept a Kikuyu presidency from any quarter given the charged anti-Kikuyuism wave that has swept across the nation from Lodwar to Isebania and Kisumu to Lamu.

NARC has promoted women into positions of power ... really ... which women?

AND YOU WANT US TO CELEBRATE? PALIZZ!!!

FROM V-C, TO PRISONS, TO D-C, TO AG'S OFFICE, TO CABINET, TO PARASTATALS, TO EMBASSIES, TO ALMOST EVERY FACET OF PUBLIC LEADERSHIP.

WHERE IT HAS BEEN A WOMAN, IT HAS BEEN A KIKUYU/GEMA.

he laid it square: GEMA's have a natural propensity to be tribal due to a s

his chronicles on govt issues and discussions from jan 2003 to july 2005 depict a man shocked by the levels of the mount kenya mafia and how it went about "business"

he was not suprised by the outcome of the referendum. he was schoked by the dis-belief from the MKM side at losing a poll they thought they should have won.

his conclusion - the disconnect exists since jan 2003 when this MKM gang made decisions with the firm belief that Kenyans always wil kow-tow to GEMA interests.

his advice - go vote and use your conscience. avoid at all costs the MKM side and the opposing tribal mafias.

No Way

There is no way you can ignore the majority and expect to prosper. Kikuyu is like a religion..

I agree with you on the religion - ... that leads nowhere except to hell

what religion allows people to maim, rape, murder, steal, lie and even prostrate themselves for "money/riches"

only the devils one ...

funny, after all the "devpts" over the last 40 years, how come the gap between the richest and poorest in central is highest in kenya?

and also the number of gema who are poor is equal to the number of 25 kenyan tribes put together in terms of population. and you call that development.

check your facts ... after 3 years of kibaki, some of you are still living in abject poverty.

sadly, we have marked you and blacklisted you from the presidency for the next 25 years.

read and listen to githongo's final statement on the video.

"any campaign that positions itself on an anti-kikuyu platform will be bound to gain given the resentment of dominance many non-kikuyus feel and are wont to avoid, for the next elections, this will be a sure vote getter ..."

They always believe they are top of all the tribes.

Kibaki expects to get 90% of his votes from Kiuk country ama?

From: Kichwa Mbaya - Tue, Apr 04, 10:59 PM

I find it amazing that when luos vote for Raila, they are not independent minded, while kiuks voted for Matiba, kibaki and the referendum and yet they are supposedly independent minded. Raila/luo hatred make these people reason like chicken.
