The fanatical luo following of Raila

From: Kichwa Mbaya - Tue, Apr 04, 9:07 PM

Luos support for Raila has been described by the most derogatory terms that Raila/hater's small minds can think of.

Some have suggested that Raila is considered as a luo God. The amazing thing is that almost 90% of Luos are christians or muslims who believe in one God.

What bothers Raila's detractors is the discipline and the determination with which the luos have supported Raila.

Usually unity is considered a virtue but in the Luo support for Raila is often described in derogatory terms.

"United we stand, divided we fall" is considered wise untill luos are united then all over a sudden it is not good any more.

United under Raila the luos will never lead or see development in their land, but devided they can chase the goose and get at least a chank of the development money or leadership.
Discard this god called Raila A LIAR

Good points on Raila Amalo Odinga

From: Mtugei Mpore - Tue, Apr 04, 8:09 PM

Whatever critics say, Raila is the only major national politician since Tom Mboya who has been comfortable holding a cosmopolitan political base by representing a multi-ethnic Nairobi constituency. Raila has been the MP for Langata for a number of years now (even Mwai Kibaki fled from Nairobi’s Bahati to the more comfortable Othaya in the 70s.)

So his national credentials are more credible than most people would want to admit. Probably his big undoing is the fanatical, blind following he enjoys from the Luo community.

What we need in Kenya today is somebody who can make decisions. Raila has proved that he can not only do that, but he is also an excellent organizer. His managerial abilities in the Roads ministry, when he was minister, were clearly evident.

Raila Odinga commands reverential support from a large ethnic base, the Luo of Kenya, as well as from lower class urban youth all over the country. He is seen as a charismatic leader with excellent skills in mobilising grass root support. He is an indefatigable campaigner and during the referendum campaign was able to energise the team opposing the draft constitution through clever campaign tactics such as using the media to gain attention with the public. He has come to be seen as championing the interests of the common Kenyan at a time when corruption and tribalism are said to be rife within Kenya's ruling elite. His followers are now urging him to run for president himself in the upcoming elections in 2007. However he is also seen to be too polarising a candidate to have any chance of winning the middle class vote.

Idiot, take your fanatism elsewhere. Your fellow idiot squandered our money on politiking in the name of road inspections. He then purchased the most expensive car among his cabinet colleagues. Is this the performance you are talking about?
Go preach in Kondele or kibera where you require no police security!!!!!!!Stone throwers!!!!!
