Response to Leo Odera Omolo

Amosi nyakwar Ajwang'. I have been reading your article in jaluo.com. I gather
that to be elected in Nyanza, one has to be in Agwambo's good books. Don't you think this trend has to be changed? What if an aspirant is in Agwambo's good books but he is out of touch with the people? How about those right candidates that are not Agwambo's men? Does it mean its Agwambo who decides whoever gets to parliament? Don't you think its a denial of democracy to the people of Nyanza?  When we loose bright and visionary leaders like Orengo, Joe Donde, Dr Ochuodho then replace them with dead lions like Ondiek, Koinange/bar fighters like Jakoyo, Okundi respectively?

      Then in other words there is going to be a generation gap in leadership.
It means we have to recycle the Owino Acholas. Are there no young visionary
leaders in Migori? I believe most young men of my age, burning with the passion to represent and articulate agendas for their people back home in parliament, but have no access to Agwambo will never get that opportunity. Because of that trend, most of our MPs today have their hands tied in loyalty to Agwambo. That is wrong! We need those elected by the people and not those ''annointed'' by Agwambo. In as much as we should work as a team for the good of our people, lets have the democratic right to elect our MPs and not to have them imposed on us.  Joluo wamiyo dala mar Oginga duong' kod luor kendo mano owinjre go ndi. However is a crime against humanity and abuse of our goodwill  for Raila to use the ignorance and lack of education of the Luo people to impose deadwood people on communities that need improvements in their lives.

    Young men outside there in Nyanza, lets stand up and change this trend. Lets have a forum to air our views thru the internet as Jo Kano and Rarieda are doing it.
