JOURNALIST ATTACKED.

A Kisumu based investigative freelance journalist Shem Kosse was on Wednesday night this week attacked by Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) goons who are allied to Ndhiwa Parliamentary hopeful Ted Odero.

The hirelings numbering about six accosted the reporter out side Kisumu hotel (formerly Royale) and wrestled the scribe to the ground under the watchful eye of the Parliamentary aspirant.

As the barbaric drama unfolded, the paid goons were overheard castigating the journalist for having given their favourite candidate some negative coverage in a recent constituency analysis.

Quick intervention by security guards of the Hotel and some good Samaritans salvaged the hapless scribe from glaring death.

The reporter managed to identify the youths as Onyango Tosha, a shoe shiner cum pauper next to Standard Bank, Carlos alias Mzee, who is a renown jail bird, and Mr. Ondu, a Kisumu based wait lifter among others.

The Mbita Parliamentary hopeful who has been soliciting for financial favours from all Luo politicians under the pretext that he has a bunch of goons for hire and also that he is close to Lang'ata MP Raila Odinga, was during the incident in the company of another Karachuonyo Parliamentary aspirant Hezbon Omollo, who is Kericho based.

Ted Odero started employment as a tea boy at Monalisa Hotel and later Royale Hotel. However, he is ever glued in magnificent joints extorting from his fellow politicians, thanks to his imaginary closeness with Raila Odinga.

At the time of going to the press, the heavily bandaged journalist vowed to take legal action on the Politician together with the goons who have of late been terrorizing clients in big Hotels and at the Kisumu airport in their quest for cheap cash-outs.
