Dominion Farms bashing activists may unwittingly decide the next government of Kenya

The Environmental, Social and Economical assessment are vital fundamental preludes for an investment of such magnitude as the Dominion Farms in Yala Swamp. To the best of my knowledge, these were positively met before the investiture was consummated.

The firm received approvals from Siaya and Bondo District Development Committees and the Siaya and Bondo County Councils. Parliament also approved the same, after the completion and approval of an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) by the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA). Not too long ago, Parliament passed another motion tabled by nominated MP Hon Oloo Aringo, (who hails from Alego), in favor of the firm to continue with its operations.

So, why all this noise about Dominion now?

Since Dominion Farms first set foot in the muddy waters of Yala swamp, they have not had much peace, just because this project is in Luo land, benefiting the Luo tribe.

The intruders from the house of Mumbi (The Kikuyus) have constantly engaged in this “jealousy” battle with the Luo. If they can’t control an investment in Luo land, they must kill it!

This time around though, Dominion is just a perfect excuse for the enemies of the Luo to beat up on Dominion, while laundering campaign money into the country for Kibaki’s re-election.

Even in the first world, money talks, as I have just learnt. I have been incorrectly thinking that activists in the first world do their due diligence before attacking a project. Not so. Laden with loots from our public coffers, our dirty politicians easily get willing partners such as the naïve Paula Palmer and her Colorado based Global Response. For a few pieces of silver, the woman is working like crazy for the Kikuyus to keep an entire tribe in perpetual poverty, and an entire nation in perpetual rule by the corrupt Mount Kenya Mafia (MKM).

Anglo-leasing funds and other Kikuyu ill gotten wealth have found her a willing recipient to launder MKM dirty money back into the country.

MKM, led by Muraria and Murungaru are said to be using NGO’s in USA and UK to launder their ill gotten money back into the country in time for campaign in the upcoming elections. The money is sent as donation to an overseas NGO, in this case Global Response, who take their cut, sends the rest to a local NGO, in this case, Kenya Land Alliance and Action Aid (Peter Kariuki and Nyokabi Gitahi), who also take their cut (send some crumbs to Chris Owalla to keep him wailing about Dominion), and forwards the rest to MKM.

So people, keep up the fight for Dominion, but don’t loose site of that money trail. It may decide your future government.
