MY PRAYER FOR THE ODM-K LEADERS

Across the breath and depth of Kenya, millions of ordinary citizens pace with the current ODM - K. for they all have a stake in the outcome during the forth-coming general elections. The heavy responsibility that rest with the ODM-K luminaries is that they should have a spirit of statesmanship in dealing with sensitive issues still in dispute and forge ahead in order to form the next government. Jacques Delors, the former president of European Commission from 1985-1995 once said, "Without confidence, people can never work together for any common cause".

Now, my prayer for the ODM - K as the next government:

That there should be no petty politics but wisdom and mutual understanding amongst the presidential aspirants who are supposed to use their good senses of humour to ease any tension.

That even some Kenyans who may have some reservations should vote for a democratic and free Kenya.

That together, we shall march hand in hand, to a brighter future for all Kenyans since the cooperation amongst ODM - K aspirants will enable them earn legitimacy in the eyes of Kenyans. We Kenyans intend to vote for a presidential candidate who will be deciding how Kenya responds to crucial challenges that are important to people everywhere such as how to improve the sickly economy. The election process is a complex one, with a bewildering array of nominations within different parties and at the polling day set by the electoral commission of Kenya.

On behalf of tenants in Kenya, urge the presidential aspirants to work in solidarity for their common cause. I look forward to reading your comments.
