Domestic Violence

Dear Kenyans,
While images you will be about to see are disturbing, I wish to thank Morris Matheka for sending it as it serves as a wake up call to all the men: Real men don’t strike at their spouses when angry, they go for a jog, the Gym, cycling, walking, etc to let off the pent up "steam" and then talk about issue. Real men are never threatened by the spouses’ success; they share in that Glory and even urge their spouse to greater heights…as Prince Philip, Mr. Mugo, Mr. Tuibaijika, Mr. Thatcher, …when your spouse does well it does goes to show that being that person’s choice you too are a success.

We must say NO to women battering! We must confront the demons that led our men to rape our own sisters and daughters, mothers and guardians!

The solution is no with anyone else BUT you - - the men that are looked at as a source of inspiration, but some are a source of deparation.

God help us ALL men to be of greater courage to say NO to abuse. Strong men are those who can contain their urge to strike at anyone and dialogue to "agree to agree or agree to disagree" in a humane way.
