RE:diaspora candidate; Fred Wagah

Pulling a plug in the scheme of things to eschew community aspiration is a delight to all and would be welcome by all like minded individuals. But chest thumping and court jesting about subsistence achievement is really demeaning and relegates the use of this forum to intellectual impotence.

Leadership and political dispensation in Kenyan landscape, Nyando in particular require a culture of above gerrymandering and cheap chest thumping. Community mobilisation and emancipation of local communities requires more than building your parents houses; not withstanding village approach to things. We appreciate every individuals shortcomings and achievements in particular barriers we have overcome to fly over the ladder of 'achievement’; coming over to draft personal cvs(which are not rossy any way) is wanting.

If what you put cross are your measures of success then you have an Herculean task, further to that when did you carry an impact assessment that pushed you above others? I know with information super highway, cheap TICing model are peddled that all sundry craving for attention use. Coming from Kano I felt compelled and rediculedand subsequently forced to vehemently demystify the ethno of assumption that voters are fools to be taken for granted.Kleptocratic attitude that was long gone with the past regimes have no place in modern Kenya and our constituency in particular. The development record of leaders in Nyando speaks for itself, this time round majority of you will be in for a rude shock.

In communities of practice which can be found in any public domain , ideas can be cascaded to suit the needs of our poor folks who share a common denominator, namely:-
• poverty
• economic issues
• abysmal ways of life that embraces health
• lifting economic well being
• strengthening communities

Kindly, Mr Wagwa take note that hard working or not for Raila try to widen your horizon beyond with your minders hitting the drum for you!!!!!

As a development expert Nationally, internationally and coming from Kano I felt so belittled by your comments; None measured to local and constituency parameters, otherwise if that is the case all of us would be in parliament. Please go back to the drawing board and do some home work; meanwhile Kenya requires people of who have good academic background. Pulling a plug in the scheme of things to eschew community aspiration is a delight to all and would be welcome by all like minded individuals. But chest thumping and court jestering about subsistence achievement is really demeaning and relegates the use of this forum to intellectual impotence.

Ask what you can do for your community not what they can do for you

For your thought which may help you round. A man was in a car with a girl whom he had picked up, having enticed his way to the beautiful girl with what he was capable of and the car he drives, he made love to the girl in the car. After the ordeal to the dismay of the man the lady asked for 2,500Kshs to which she rightfully said was the charge for the service, meanwhile the man reluctantly paid. Two minutes passed when there was a cloudy silence and the girl asked why he was not driving, the young man demanded to be paid 2000kshs as he was a taxi driver!!!. That is what community leadership is about.
