Re: Fw: [kwf_members] Yala Swamp action alert - FYI

Paula Palmer,

I also believe that another world is possible, with Dominion Farms.

Yala Swamp was a neglected piece that even the Lake Basin Development Authority, funded by the taxes from the people of Kenya could not develop. It took the intervention of a Mzungu, as some people would like to see it, all the way from America, to come and make the land productive.

After he has set himself up, to the benefit of all the people of Nyanza and Western Province, is when some busy bodies come along shouting that another world is possible.

Where were you when the people of Ratuoro, Yimbo, Kadenge and Budalangi were wallowing in the miasma of poverty?

Where were you when that area was a haven of thieves and petty criminals?

Where was your other possible world when our children could not go to school, for luck of school fee, and schools?

Where was your possible world when our people were jobless?

Is your world only possible to a people who are stricken with poverty?

Yes, you were there at the World Social Forum, when some people were ferried there, their transport and accommodation paid for in full, and having been given some out of pocket expenses, then instructed to malign Dominion Group.

Thats very cheap of you.

Yala Swamp has been breeding mosquitoes for ages. Yala Swamp had been neglected for ages, even by the government. I will not for a momment get convinced that your other world is only possible when our people of Nyanza and Western go back to poverty.

I will not accept that your other world is only possible when our people go back to be unemployed.

I will not accept that other world of yours which becomes subjective to development of our people.

No, our new world is possible now, with Dominion doing the right things now. We must all support Dominion Group in their endeavours to make Kenya the leading rice producer in the world.

The people of Yimbo, Ratuoro, Kadenge and Budalangi, the immediate neighbours to Dominin Farm, have not been complaining. How come it is some strangers who are complaining?

No Palmer, that other world of yours is tainted and slippery. It is not for the good of Kenyans. It is a mercenary reaction to siphon in more donor money.
