Re: Hard to belive that the Mavericks & Melinda are out !

My son Thomas has been lamenting the fact that the Mavericks that were early on expected to be the 2007 NBA champions but later were humiliated and sent home by the least expected team. Surprise!

Tonight,it was my turn. Like others, I was surprised that Melinda's dream for the 2007 American Idol championship came to an abrupt end.

My mind immediately switched to the words of Jesus "The last will be the first and the first will will be the last"

Indeed heaven will be a place of surprises. While the Mavericks have another opportunity of making it, and Melinda having come this far, has made herself a name and opened more opportunities for herself, the sad thing about heaven is that there will never be any second chance. Our only opportunity is now. Let us make use of it. Can we?
