Re: What Realy hapened in Douala?

Bill,

Yesterday another Kenyan circulated reports that Flight Captain Francis Wamwea Mbatia of the ill fated Flight KQ507 may have been having drinking problems. His deputy, Wanyoike Andrew Kiuru, was aged below 24. It has not been established who was in charge of the plane at the time.

There are also reports that Kenya Airways like most Kenyan institutions, has been hit by the wave of tribalism. How could it be possible that the pilot and his co-pilot both have obvious Kikuyu names?

Could you or any person in the aviation industry inform us of the implications excessive use of alcohol or any other hallucinating drugs could have on passenger and crew safety?

Can you also bring us to light the role ethnicity and nepotism in pilot student selection, funding, qualification and eventual recruiting of pilots and crew in Kenya's aviation industry?

There are also reports that the Flight's recovery operation in Cameroon was hijacked by politics, resulting to delay in meeting the deadline of the recovery of decomposing human remains. What can be done to make sure that in case of future aviation disasters, the international aviation association takes charge of the disaster site with immediate effect for a period of say 30 days?

Yours sincerely,

-James Ololo
