The IDEA Congress will take place in Hong Kong, 16-22, July 2007 at Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Hong Kong Arts Centre and some other cultural venues in Hong Kong. We are looking forward to a broad international representation to which your expertise will make a significant contribution.

Due to the limited number of venues and enthusiastic response in submission of proposals, each participant can only make one presentation in most of the cases. The Academic Programme Committee is striving to accommodate as many presenters as possible into the current available venues as well as the coming ones.

As in the past, it is the intention of the international association to publish a significant representation of papers selected through a juried process. Specific information regarding publications will be made available at the Congress but we remind you that IDEA has copyright over any publication of your paper for two years – one year for Congress publications and one year for IDEA publications. Please also kindly note that all presenters are responsible for their registration fees for the Congress.

I understand that I am responsible for my registration fees for the Congress. As first- named presenter, I understand that I am responsible for informing other members of the presentation that we have been accepted and that they, too, are responsible for their own registrations.
If applicable, I understand that both individual and co-authored papers will have a 30-minute time slot for presentation.
IDEA regrets that we must charge individuals for additional equipment. Please see the IDEA website for those charges (available soon). Note: Video format: PAL/NTSC (for tapes and DVDs only) and Hong Kong power is 250v. You will, therefore, need to bring a converter/ adapter with you.

Please reconfirm the requirements for your presentation. Due to high costs and technical issues, neither computers nor access to the Internet can be provided during the Congress.
