Re: Nothing works in Kenya, despite all the denials

Mr Matagaro,

I was just comparing the talk with what is being done, and I saw the difference.

Kenya School Equipment Scheme was killed long before NDP was born. So there can be no way in which that money ever got used in bribing NDP MPs to work with Kanu.

That same time, Mudavadi must have been in lower primary schooling, so he could not have used the same on Goldenberg. You may try another line of defense.

In politics, you must be partisan. And as for my case, I am partisan with issues the people of Embakasi hold dear to heart. I simply ventilate the feeling of the common man. The essence of democracy is that you cannot double sign to all the sides. You take one clear line, and in that line, you do not blow cold and hot. That is left to political desperadoes who want to sell themselves to either side.

Remember, I am in ODM-K, and I am their secretary general in Embakasi Constituency, hence their spokesman. Someone must speak for them, and that person happens to be me.

Again, Embakasi is the biggest constituency in terms of numbers in Kenya, so do not take what we say lightly. This is the feeling of most people that nothing works despite all the denials.

Mr Matagaro, do not just use the English language for the sake of it. I raised pertinent issues which I also wanted challenges from. Words such as 'stupendous response', becomes vacuous when wrongly applied.

The only person who seems to have raised something meaningful was Orina Nyamwamu. He raised the issue of hard nosed think tank within our ranks, people who could raise real questions. That was refreshing, and it raised immediate concerns which must be enhanced, not that they are not there.

Orina only messed it up by engaging in double speak, and some slight dose of ego boosting. But that I will pick up with him the next time we meet.

So, challenge my facts, and tell me what works, how and at what cost.
