re: South Nyanza MPs won’t have it easy in elections . Att.Asego.......Any connection?

I am a South Nyanza[Milambo] citizen & very proud of it. In as much as it is true that,in generality,we enjoyed better livelihood[sp] in the 60's,70's,& 80's than we are today,I would hestitate to heap it on our local MP's. My observation is that we have been marginalised by the Govt systematically from the time T.J.Mboya was assasinated by the very Govt that he served with all his heart till fateful day in 1969.

1] It is silly to read that Osingo Migure served South Nyanza/Mbita well. To the best of my knowledge,his tanure was the most unproductive.The people who did much to Mbita were Alphonce Okuku & J.P.O.Nyakiamo & mainly because they sat in the cabitent & were 2 term MP. Nduri did not even mention what Dalmas Otieno-Anyango did when he was in the cabinet.John Henry Okwanyo was a Minister for a while & died without showing anything for it. Lastly in the last 15 Years our MPs have been in opposition.

2] Sonyaco Plaza- this is one of the greatest things to happen to:South Nyanza/Homa-Bay/Sacco Teachers. Divison of South Nyanza & mismanagement of Sonyaco has nothing to do with sitting MP's.The KNUT is so independent & self-relaint that no politician can be given a chance in it's running.Could someone tell Nduri to look for a better spin.

3] Infrustructure-Yes,the infrustructure is in a mess & I wonder why it is blamed on the MPs.It is common knowledge that our MP's have always complained about the poor roads including Okundi & Ojode threatening the local Road Eng & Contructors. The Govt has failed us period. The CDF money is a mere 2.5% of the GDP & can only do so much. Let me remind you that each of the South Nyanza Districts got a merger Ksh 3 Million for roads this fiscal Year yet Nyeri got 1 Billlion, Kiranyaga 600 Million, Laikipia[Kimunya's] Ksh 500 Million, Nyachae's District I think over Khs400 Million. Is that not profiling ? Does Nduri want our MPs to fund raise for roads ?

4] Banks.I was shocked when Barclays Bank & KCB announced that they were moving out of Homa Bay. If their sustainance was/is threatened due to lack of investment & we blame it on opposition back benchers then for sure we need to re-define the role of an MP. GK has failed people of "Milambo" & Homa Bay Mayor, who is a Medical Doctor threteaned to take the Kenya Govt to Haig for "genocide" & of course our people are dying of hunger.

5] Farmers: Farmers co-op collaspsed like any other in the Country & I wonder why we balme the MPs. Ochilo Ayako has been making loud noise over farmers plight in SONY & Nduri has refused to see.

6] Kendu Cotton ginnery- to the best of my knowledge Hon. Okundi bought the property before he became an MP. Questions on how it was purchased/sold have been asked for a while now,& Hon. Okundi has always given his side of the story. Atleast there is a ginnery after along long time.

Yes, the MPs have a lot to answer come election,however,we have been neglected by:Kenyatta,Moi & now Kibaki Govts.
