Re: Lonely moments

In his second epistle to Timothy,the apostle Paul laments the fact that all had forsaken him at the time he needed them most. In away, he found himself very lonely locked in jail awaiting to be sentenced to death because of his faith.

This touching epistle reminds me of the lonely God's children in this part of the globe.Included in the list are:

1.Couples whose better half are far away removed from them.
2.Students whose parents and siblings are back in Africa.
3.Couples who for some reasons find themselves lonely in their own homes.
4.Parents whose cgildren are back in Africa.
5.People who for various reasons have no friend/s.
6.People who work at un friendly environment. As soon as they step at their working places, the pressure climbs up.

If you happen to fall under the above category, then be encouraged to know the following:

1.Despite all that the apostle Paul went through, God stood beside him, thus granting victory.
2.In Mathew 28:20 Jesus promised that He will never leave us alone.
3.John 14:18 Jesus promised never to leave the ophans alone.
4.Isaiah 49:14-15 God says that although a mother may forget her suckling child, He will never forget us.

So every time you find yourself somewhat lonely, remember that there is no permanent situation and that with God, all things are possible. Will you?
