Makau Mutua must think outside the box

Mr, Mutua am responding to your blog that appears to discredit Raila as the best candidate for ODM. It is true that one would most naturally favour their tribesmen for the post (presidency) which i have no doubt is what you do; you are in support of Kalonzo.

But Mr. Mutua, compare the two gentlemen rationally, putting a side your tribe. Mr. Musioka has been with Moi, left and joined forces with Kibaki, just like Raila did so your discredit is invalid. Again one other thing that you may need to see is that this man Kalonzo could not question any of the wrong things that Moi's government did (which he shouts at the top of his voice currently) for the many years he served as a minister how sincere is this man? if he enjoyed these ills as a minister in Moi's government, how much more when we make him president that he did not work for enough? Even as the minister for education, he did not know that free primary education was possible until he found it convenient to believe.

Mr. Mutua, think as a Kenyan first, and we shall make this country a better place to live in. You and i know the truth beyond the politics that we can twist around it. We can always find ways of discrediting even the best among us, the good thing is that nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come...the truth shall always prevail, its only a matter of time.
