I am all for Kibaki

From: Alexander Koech Koech

Some people have been trying to give an impression that the Kalenjin will vote for the ODM and Raila in paricular. But most of you guys will be surprised. Kibaki's composed and gentlemanly behaviour certainly appeals to the Kalenjin way of thinking, and he has many non Kikuyu supporters in the Rift Valley.

It is ill mannered for ODM supporters to claim that Kibaki owes Raila a favour for campaigning for him. When multipartysm was introduced, Kibaki ditched KANU immediately and founded DP. He remained steadfast in the opposition until he his victory in 1992. In contrast, Raila ditched the opposition and joined our guy Moi for his own selfish ends pulling all Luos with him. When he realised that he awas played by KANU, he jumped back to the opposition at the last minute. So how come so many of you in jaluo.com say that Kibaki owes Raila a favour? I think it should be the other way round.

I bet very many ODM supporters will hide their face in shame when Kibaki is reelected by a cross section of Kenyan communities and not just the Kikuyu as they love to think. Lets all be patriots my fellow brothers. Those who use tribalism in politics should not complain when the same is used on them.
