You can't be serious. Hon. Odinga never apologized for anything. He only empathized with the situation Hon Kalonzo has created for himself. The lawyer (from Kitui, I believe?) believes in boardroom selection of the ODM-K Torchbearer, yet he also must attend Public Rallies attended by the electorate itching to cast their votes (Hon. Kalonzo has a well-publicised apathy for rallies.
He wants them suspended until ODM-K has handpicked him as the Presidential Candidate). He cannot have it both ways: He either waits for nomination by Chiefs, or choose to dirty his lawyer's gown in the trenches of street politics where the elctorate rules supreme. I don't want to sound like a lawyer, but Hon. Kalonzo is a "Stranger" to big-time street politics.

Now, the "WE" in Hon Odinga's political appology is a political corporate "WE" (meaning "Us members of ODM-K" understand your predicament"). Hon. Odinga is taking no resposibility at all, and correctly so, for a problem he never initiated. Hon Kalonzo and his boardroom-nomination group had incited the public to wrath by declaring that the "very visible" Agwambo (A man of the Trenches, The Mystery) was not even fit to be a Vice President. Having declared war against the electors, the Mombasa Uprising was an inevitable public outburst.
