Makau attacked Luos not just Raila

Makau delivered this diatribe in person at KCA in Delaware on Saturday July 7, 2007. I watched and listened in dismay as the speech that was titled: Internal security, Human rights, and the Election year turned into an agenda for Makau to continue his well known hatred for Raila. To me it went beyond Raila, it was an attack on the Luos. I am very dissapointed that this guy is director of human rights. I was even more dissappointed that KCA could allow such a speech to be delivered at its conference. Now I understand why fewer and fewer people attend KCA meetings. About 20 people listened to Makau's speech and it was about the same number that listened to Githongo last year. That is way below the numbers that KCA recorded before it turned into a playground for the Makau's to spread their hate. The sad thing is that Luos were front and center in starting KCA and now they have been forced out and the attack dogs released. Its sad that this speech was allowed at a time a Luo, Shem Ochuodho was being honored by KCA. Guess who Makau thinks is a nationalist, not Raila of course.

FYI: I had the opportunty to ask Henry Obwocha, Minister of Planning and National Development what the price of sukari, unga, makati, cement, petrol and what it costs to travel from Nairobi to Mombasa by bus. He was honest enough to tell me that he did not know the answer asked Munya to give the cost to travel by bus from Nairobi to Mombasa.He guessed that the price of a bag of cement was Shs 500 and petrol was Shs 70 per liter. I don't remember the price of petrol but I know I bought a bag of cement for Shs. 720 in January 2006. I asked this question because he talked of the 6% economic growth and I wanted to know if he knew how this has impacted the wanainchi.
