I think God loves all his creatures whether you go to church or NOT, whether you belong to a particular religion or NOT. Remember the book of ACT where it is clearly written that: Most jewish believers thought that God had offered salvation only to the jews because God had given his law to them. A group of jews in Jerusalem believed that Gentiles could be saved, but only if they followed all the jewish laws and traditions-in essence, if they first became jews before becoming christians. Both groups were mistaken.

If you want to bring forward some ideas of helping luos, I truely think you can do this with or without religion. If you can not persuade people to take your advice perhaps you should think why? or you should sell the ideas. I will advice you that people take more notice of the advice they have paid for than of that they get free.

Religion is a very sensitive thing to bring forward, especially now when trying to get foreign investers: First not all foreign investers believe in God, or belong to Legio Maria. Secondly slave trade (selling poor africans to Asia and America) and colonization of Africa started through religion. Thirdly today most of Africans still hold white man`s names due to brain washing by those priest who prevailed during that time. Those priest could tell Africans directly that you can only go to heaven when you are called John, Paul, George etc ( I mean baptising with whites names).

All of us do agree that Luoland is underdeveloped and we should do something about it. But I do not think that we will achieve anything good by forcing Luos that there are so and so who is supposed to pray for the luos inorder to achieve our goals. In a logical world actions speaks for themselves. These so called ordained to pray for luos must be very weak. Since no luo has been a president while there are 2 kikuyu presidents, one kalenjin. So many luos have been gunned down because of political ambitions where are these boastful priest of luos been when all these things happen to luos? Or their prayers are not strong enough to guard those luos?. How can a priest write the details of secrets conversation in the open e- mails to all how somebody asked him for 12 000.00 usa dollars, do these priest have oaths of keeping secrets like the catholic priests? or what are some luos trying to prove?. Why should they behave like Gods to fellow luos?.

You touched something about life expectancy in luoland:. Infact you can prolong life expectancy in luoland without foreign investers, Just by telling people to take their newborns to the dispensary for vaccination. In luoland the vaccination rate is very low compaired to Niarobi, rift valley, western or central province. There are vaccination kits in Kenya and they are free. HIV/AIDS drugs are given throughout in Kenya. People just have to come out of the old traditional thinking and go for test and if positive starts taking HIV drugs. I know a lot of people living a very healthy and long life with these drugs, in Kenya and abroad. Actually you can live for even over 65 years. And those who are infected to stop spreading HIV to the innocents. You do not need foreigners or luos in the Diaspora to do this. The mentality that some European of American will save Africa should stop. There are a lot of things the locals can do to improve their lives if well guided and that is where the educated are needed. So those writting PhDs at the end of their names should not stop, but just continue writting them and adding on top their areas of speciality, so that we can ask them for advice to improve luoland.

Finally I would tell you that it is particularly difficult to be flexible when resources are limited. To do so requires subjective ability tolerance for ambiguity of a very high order. To do so requires overcoming the confusion, obscurity etc. Remember that a person makes enemies when his purpose is governed solely by self-interest, and expediency. We luos if we are to achieve something we need to work diligently and speak cautiously.

Purpose is the motivating force for achievement.
