nyakach politics,odoyo has an egde over his opponents

The incumbent member of parliament for Nyakach constuency, HON. PETER OCHIENG ODOYO is likely to be re-elected, courtesy of his record and low profile opponents he faces. The Bristol university trained economist, has proved that the only way to satisfactory leadership is through equitable distribution of resources like the C.D.F.

Unlike other constituencies where clanism reign supreme, His has been the service for all Nyakachians irrespectve of whether they voted for him or not. This explain why the bursary funds have been disbursed to any Nyakach student regardless of the institution against the wish of self-seekers who are ever on a mission to hoodwink the residents. Schools which were once mudwalled have been face lifted, much to the chagrin of his opponents who have been spreading propaganda that he holds the office courtesy of ODM supremo, Raila Odinga.

Truth be told. The M.P has never solicited for support from anybody ever since he joined politics. He has been his own man and supporting any cause that benefits the people of Kenya, both home and away. He once told his opponents in the run up to 2002 elections that he is a wrestler they much brace for. And he did just that by winning with a wide margin that saw those opponents cry hoarse.

He is facing opposition from Ochieng Daima, Engeneer kodera, Churchill Suba, among others who are yet to seriously hit the campaign trail. But going by the mood on the ground, parliamentary elections in the constituency is a forgone conclussion as no aspirant matches him.
