Re: Series on Who is Kalonzo Musyoka

Job,

What a dissection, brilliant.

You have put the man where he belongs. The guý wants to be toshwas ar all cost. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE if he is a popular as he claims. KM is nuts, after the 2002 MOU, does he think people will be willing to commit the same mistake?

-----------------------------------------------------

KM is finished

Infact he provided lots of ammunition for R to use against him in HIS OWN words. What an absurd interview he gave to the Daily Nation.

Where is Kalonzo going with this heckling thing?

http://www.eastandard.net/hm_news/news_s.php?articleid=1143971056

If I was him I would keep away from the whole saga. Trying to make an issue out of the fact that Kenyans are getting fed up with his nonsense is just going to make things worse for him. You don't do cry baby in politics, particularly with the masses. Wananchi are ruthless sometimes. They will tell you to your face what they think. Take it and move on and stop talking about how "barbaric" Kenyans are. There is nothing barbaric about heckling. In my days at the campus you were lucky if the students gave you five minutes before they started shouting "Next, Next". You had to come there solid and prepared and then they will have a conversation with you. One of the tricks of addressing crowds is you have to be able to feel the mood of the crowd. When little fires come up, you have to put them off before they become an inferno.

It is kind of silly for Kalonzo to suggest that Raila would actually instruct his supporters, possibly even pay them, to heckle Kalonzo. If people are upset with Kalonzo, he should find a way to win back their confidence. That is what leadership is about. You can't demand respect from anybody. You have to go out there and earn it.

Kalonzo is not the first to be booed, he wont be the last. That is siasa. Moi was booed in Kakamega in 2002, his first public booing. He was stunned, but soldiered on and never talked about it. The very following day he was in Kisumu expecting the worst. Raila pleaded with the crowd to give the Mzee a nice welcome. They listened but when Moi uttered the now infamous words "Kanu ina wenyewe" wananchi told him to stuff it and get lost. The crowd got disinterested in his speech and they wound things up quite peacefully. These things happen.

I was puzzled the other day when ODM leaders chickened out of the Kamukunji rally, fearing to face the masses with the ridiculous claim that the crowd would be biased. They asked that the rally be moved to Nakuru. They chickened out again. Now you go to Mombasa and get to hear from the folks and all of a sudden Kalonzo wants all ODM joint rallies banned.

Should we provide a space rocket to enable Kalonzo to hold his rallies in the moon where he is sure NOT to meet Kenyan voters? Just give Kalonzo earplugs and get on with the business of ODM. The plugs are way cheaper than the rocket. I can chip in with some thick really dark glasses so Kalonzo can do a see nothing, hear nothing gig at the rallies.

-----------------------------------------------------

AO and others,

Interesting allegations by Musyoka. But next, he goes ahead to unleash another of his characteristic arm-twisting conditions.......here...

"ODM-Kenya presidential aspirant Mr Kalonzo Musyoka now says his heckling at a rally in Mombasa was stage-managed to frustrate him.

Kalonzo blamed some fellow presidential aspirants for the humiliation during the Sunday rally at Khadijah primary school. He also called for a ban on joint rallies until the party picks a presidential candidate."

So ODM-K should now abandon their unity campaign rallies because one Kalonzo Musyoka fears being heckled.

First, as Adongo rightly points out, Kalonzo gave conditions as to the venue of the unity rally. He rejected Kamkunji, ...then rejected Nakuru,...claiming both venues would have biased crowds.

Kalonzo agreed with the Mombasa venue. Now since ODM supporters wishing to be involved in the election of their Presidential nominee are upset at him, ...heckling him,.....he makes an unsubstantiated allegation against his colleagues.

Kalonzo is increasingly coming out as too eager to rush to the media to complain on petty issues, not exactly the trait I would want in a President. It is now apparently clear that Kalonzo has been enjoying a smooth ride all along his political career. Now he is faced with the reality of accounting for his actions directly to party supporters. He is in for a long ride.

For Kalonzo to come up with this unreasonable demand about banning all joint ODM rallies, when general elections are pretty much just months away is honestly selfish. Kalonzo must not hold the entire party hostage to his little self-centred fears.

The party must move on and ignore those trying to introduce disharmony and confusion within it.

Fellas

Huyu Jamaa amekwisha. Finished. Finito.

I was chatting with a friend and I told him ngoja kesho KM will say R ferried folks to heckle him. Hata 24hrs arent over and he is whinning.

But wait a minute.

How does he know this, that ODM candidate X,Y,or Z instructed their supporters to heckle him. His own supporters were there engaging in fisticuffs with other ODMers ( Presumably Rs). They had the same opportunity to heckle R or to cheer KM on. None of that happened.

How about in Changamwe?

The Akamba stronghold? He was booed as his car passed there while the air was punctured with rents of Agwambo!!

The guy is a sad pathetic, opportunistic megalomaniac.
His aura is punctured.
He is done
Take that to the bank.

Infact reports from the ground say that he will be lucky to get the Veep nod. And even if he walks he wont damage ODM or gain traction anywhere.

His fellow Kamba MPs dont even want him in the sloths corner.
Sad really, how he has joined the jomo jnr league of irrelevancy.
What a quick turn around.

Rallies will go on joint or solo
It doesnt matter. R held a mamoth one solo in Kamkunji.
If I am R I put my feet to pedal and go for more mamoth rallies.
The mamothier the better.

What an utterly pathetic figure the guy has become. He delusions of grandeur are now in plain full sight, not withstanding the hit piece on R by his US ally MMuta.

-----------------------------------------------------

By demanding that ODM leaders not hold any more joint rallies, Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed yet again his selfishness and cowardice. I too wonder who advises him.

Twister

Breaking news!

Mwingi North legislator Kalonzo Musyoka and his Langata MP Raila Odinga are set to adddress the press at 5 this evening at the Serena Hotel.

The two have promised to issue groundshaking statements on their relationship, a reaction to the Steadman report released earlier today and "others"

Plea to Kalonzo over religion and politics ,

I am concerned about what the duel for the ODM-Kenya ticket portends for your spiritual life.

The Bible says one cannot serve two masters — he will hate one and like the other. As things stand now, it is clear you will leave no stone unturned to become the party’s flag bearer even if that contradicts your Christian faith.

Is there Kalonzo the born-again Christian and Kalonzo the politician? Your supporters have made you believe that you are the best for the party.

But have you asked God whether that is His will? How do you intend to plot for power — the clean or the dirty way?

Loyce Nyambura,

Mbeere
