Shame on Peter Anyang' Nyong'o

Shame on Peter Anyang' Nyong'o! Though a big admirer of the honourable prof, i find his tirade against Uhuru's move a little self-serving. I dont want to go into the whether Uhuru needed or wanted to shift camps but the prof's response to Macharia Gaitho's piece is at best an insult to his more intelligent followers (admirers). It is true that the prof and Raila both moved to Narc in 2002 but i would offer no prizes for the answer to the question as to whether the prof would have moved to Narc if Raila had been in another camp.

And if the prof insists that his present must only be judged with reference to his past (struggles for the liberations) then he should extend the same judgement criteria to the likes of Martha Karua, Kiraitu Murungu et al. The double standards are scandalous!

It is definately the season for politicking but some of the defence mechanisms emloyed by our politicians are apalling, especially when it comes from a person of the prof's calibre.
