Cleric Dwarfs Kibaki, Moi Alliance.

BY Shem Kosse(freelance journalist).

The recent move by the former Kenyan president to go public to the effect that he will support the incumbent president's bid for the second term in the highest office in the land, presidency, has prompted a high profile Kenyan clergy exiled in Canada to open a Pandora box against the retired president's regime.

Reverend George Okoth Otura said that Moi's decision to support Kibaki is part of a broader scheme to cover up their past and present massive misdeeds.

Outspoken Otura who said that time is ripe for revelation of the atrocities perpetrated by the immediate former first family and current regime, unearthed some ills backdating to late 1970's when the late founding father jomo Kenyatta, died.

He was speaking after he had met the Canadian Federal Department of Justice (CFDJ) officials.

To set the ball rolling, he claimed that aftermath of the first flawed multiparty elections, Kikuyus who were desperate for an alliance with luos to wrest reigns of power from Moi's authoritarian regime, under the tutelage of one Mr.Nginyo Kariuki, Waruru Kanja and Ngegi Muigai formed Luo-Kikuyu alliance.

And the latter revealed the mysterious death of the kenyas independence father; Kenyatta. This was in the year 1994.

The fiery clergy, who was the chief strategist of the duo tribes' alliance by then, disclosed that Mungai uncovered that the hired state killer, nurse, killed Kenyatta through blood transfusion in the State House, Mombasa.

And that the prime suspects were the former flamboyant Attorney General Charles Njojo, incumbent president and now the retired president Moi.

Consequently, the nurse was allegedly rewarded with hefty package and huge chunk of land in the vast Rift Valley.

To further conceal the murder, Moi had to promise the first lady Mama Ngina that he will hand over the leadership mantle to his son. Thus, giving credence to the ill-fated Uhuru project in the run up to 2002 general elections.

Otura the long-term political ally of the late doyen of the Kenyan opposition politics Jaramogi Oginga Odinga added, that Mungai explained, the plot to eliminate jomo was in the pipe line at a time the head of state was inching closer towards reconciling with luo community, through Jaramogi.

And the then Nyanza PC Mr.Cheruiyot had been tasked to put up the delegation to pay visit to state House, over the same.

Kibaki-Moi bond, which was forthwith, baptized ANGLO LEASING-GOLDENBER SCANDAL the Kenyan landmark scandals that almost brought economy to its knees, has elicited mixed reaction across the political divide with the critics largely viewing it as a fiasco.

The clergy who is the president of the global movement Christian Democratic Movement Kenya (CDMK), Kenya chapter which advocates for Majimbo, fully supports Raila led ODM party since it is geared for federation government "it's the only solution capable of averting the looming anarchy facing Kenya today" observed Otura.

His vitriolic attack on the twin regimes alliance and their dirty past, comes hot on the heels of the recent exposure, by an international audit firm, Kroll, the billions of shillings that were allegedly looted by Moi and his cronies, stashed abroad.

He said that his move is just but a tip of the iceberg that he is still compiling a rift of past ills to unleash to the public soon.
