FREE OPINION ON KENYA POLITICS

Yours are objective questions and answers Mr SANG. Thanks for our good article. I do support Raila because Kenyatta, Moi and Kibaki let me down. How? The three chose to be myopic in the view and handling of problems- especially economic problems. These guys deliberately chose to concentrate resources in the hands of few politically correct people.

Kenyatta and Kibaki decided to enrich their own tribe at the expense of the rest of us.

What Kibaki did in four years in power is renascent of what Kenyatta did in 1960s and 1970s- place resources in Kikuyu hands and forget all other Kenyans. They became owners and we became squatters.

I believe resources can be equitably distributed and the mortalized concept of stealing to be rich can be eliminated. Kenya became centre of millionaire thieves in 1980s and 90s. It involved,among others for instance, grabbing a beach plot and selling it for millions. Former governor of Central Bank Mr Micah Cheserem once said that Kenya had become the only country in the world where people became millionaires without working for their money.

Most of us support Raila hoping that he will make our country a prosperous one where people will work to earn wealth. A country where all tribes are equal before the government and the law is blind to color and deaf to language.

Some of us see Raila as one of us,not a Luo or son of the lake as Moi calls him. We call Raila ,arap Mibei, our brother from around the lake and not a stranger among us. We consider all people equal in the eyes of God and hope that future governments consider that fact. So far Kibaki has chosen to disregard that reality and has earned himself the current public hostility from across most of Kenya.

I, for one, do not wish that Raila should favor me, but should administer Kenya constitutionally seeking wisdom from the only reliable source- GOD- for our prosperity. This is in line with the fact that God created all and put us in Kenya to proper.
