Re: Fairness , responsibility & abuse of generosity

What do fairness, responsibility and abuse of generosity have in common? These three words deal with those who receive favor.

There are people who are indeed generous, considerate and always ready to go an extra mile in order to assist others.Un fortunately those that they struggle to help more often than not become un fair, fail to be responsible and as a result abuse the generosity of their savior. Here is what I have in mind.

1.Some of the working age kids earn their money and use it all in their wants without thinking of some groceries or doing something once in a while to appreciate the generosity of their parents. Responsibility and fairness calls for one to know when and how to chip in without being reminded.

2.Due some economic challenges, some individuals decide to rent a house/apartment so as to do some savings. But the following have been the many challenges in this kind of agreement/arrangement:
*Some fail to meet their share of rent at an accepted time.
*Some fail to do their share of buying groceries.
*Some don't like to cook but love to eat.
*Some are good at wiping the fridge and leaving it empty.
*Some don't like to clean, do dishes,or laundry. * Some do not know how to behave, control noise for others to sleep or study.
*Some bring un wanted visitors thus causing too much stress on others
*Some tell on their friends things that need to remain at home.

So really for people to share a house and enjoy life, there need to be fairness, responsibility,a stop to abusing the generosity of your parents or fellow room mates. Or what do you think?

Just a thought.
