Re: AN INPUT FROM KISUMU-KENYA.

I have been keenly following this debate from Kisumu Kenya and feel thetime is now ripe for an in put from home. ballow me to point out the following:

I am writing this with the positive assumption that we are all engaged in the very active role of urging our friends, relations, and asociates to turn up for the vote in the forthcoming elections to enable us translate opinion polls to real win.

1. The idea of a meeting to eexplore and disect the challenges facing our people remains great at all times but the timing might be too late if you must wait till January. This is because in January Hon. Raila and the Pentagon will already begearing up[ to take office and no one will be available to listein untill much later around about April.

2. We must all move with haste and identify ourpeople the mases who must be mainstreamed in the masterplan that Hon. Anyang Nyongo must be horning by this time of the day. The great Question of the day is not if we take power but rather whether we will mainstream the Ngware; min rech; jalupo; nyithi kich; mond liete; makanga; obanda; nyiri gi yawuoyi ; japur niang; japur alot; japith dhok; kod mamoko e sirikali!!!!

3. We must all realize that the mood in Kenya today is for a leadership that is short term, reform minded, and equity concious yet we have been out of government for 40 years. Jo thurwa ochuna wa ka pier matindo ni mondo un duto man e diaspora kod wan duto man tie e dala wariwre mondo wa develop village level strategic development plans even if we fund thesze through partner support. tyhese plans would allow us to present specific village to village mainstreaming process to the ministry of planning and development when it comes into force to facilitate the mainstreaming proces in our villages and of our peoples as has been our dream all through.

Please feel free to tsake this debate to another level
