This is not surprising, given the intransigence of leaders the world over, and Africa in particular, to comprehensive change. It is also very clear that Yuweri Kaguta Museveni would not like someone, more energetic, or as colourful as Raila is, who would overshadow him. He is reported to be preparing himself for a post-presidential role in Africa or wherever: evidently he wants the limelight for himself.

Moreover, Raila Odinga is a versatile, well linked personality; his friends and admirers are found in very wide environs, not least in places like southern Sudan where Garang hailed from. Yes, your guess is as good as mine, questions may arise about what happened to this great warrior from 'alot kibul'

But as I've said before, this wind of charge is so strong......that you can only attempt to divert its course, but at every turn it picks up speed....like the Tornado...destroying everything standing on its way including GWB....
