KASS FM DIASPORA DEBATE

From: David Opon

To all Diaspora Kenyans:

Following the overwhelming success of last Saturday's lively inaugural Kass Diaspora Debate, which aired on radio in Kenya and online-real-time on the Internet worldwide, the station management has decided to continue hosting the programme.

The moderator has selected a topic that will undoubtedly elicit an equally lively debate. This week's debate tackles the main campaign plank of Hon. Raila Odinga; while we intend to visit President Kibaki's major campaign platform the following weekend. Please do your homework on the suggested topic, we need comparative experiences from the rest of the world.

This week, it is going to be one of Hon. Raila’s key promises. We are all watching as Raila-phobia gives way to Raila-philia over much of the country.

This weekend's topic is: To what extent - positive or negative - has Hon. Raila's Majimbo carrot, or stick, contributed to his opinion poll ratings? Is this MOU with the people workable in Kenya ?

The program will air on Saturday October 13th from  12.00 - 2.30PM (ET). This will be 7PM Nairobi time.
Just log on to: www.kassfm.co.ke to follow the proceedings live. And in order to participate, please dial the Kass FM Conference number: 1-916-233-3333 Password 10250. Please mark your calendars.
Listeners based in Kenya can tune in to the frequencies listed below.

This edition of the program is generously sponsored by laywer Thomas K. Kirui of Kirui Law Firm of the Washington DC Metropolitan area. (Please see the contact details below).

In order for the program to be self-sustaining, the station proposes that future debates be sponsored by the participants themselves through a token contribution of only $10.00. Individuals are welcome to contribute at any time by visiting our website at: www.kassfm.co.ke . Scroll down to Kass Diaspora Debate and click on the "ADD TO CART" button right below it.

All are welcome

Best Regards
