This is in response to the Catholic bishops edict on Majimbo (Federal) system of  Government being practised in kenya.Briefly outlined below is  a brief preview of the Vatican City State and how it maps into the Global Catholic church structure.

Vatican City , officially State of the Vatican City ( Latin : Status Civitatis Vaticanae; Italian : Stato della Città del Vaticano), is a landlocked sovereign city-state whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Rome . At approximately 44 hectares (108.7 acres ), it is the smallest independent state in the world.

The state came into existence by virtue of the Lateran Treaty in 1929, which speaks of it as a new creation (Preamble and Article III), not as a vestige of the much larger Papal States (756 to 1870) that had previously encompassed central Italy, most of which was absorbed into the Kingdom of Italy in 1860, and the final part, the city of Rome and a small area close to it, ten years later.

Vatican City is a non-hereditary, elected monarchy that is ruled by the Bishop of Rome - - the Pope . The highest state functionaries are all clergymen of the Catholic Church . It is the sovereign territory of the Holy See (Latin:Sancta Sedes) and the location of the Apostolic Palace - - the Pope's official residence - - and of much of the Roman Curia .

The Roman Catholic Church or Catholic Church is the Christian church in full communion with the Bishop of Rome , currently Pope Benedict XVI . It traces its origins to the original Christian community founded by Jesus and spread by the Twelve Apostles , in particular Saint Peter

The Catholic Church is the largest Christian church, representing around half of all Christians, and is the largest organized body of any world religion . According to the Statistical Yearbook of the Church, the Catholic Church's worldwide recorded membership at the end of 2005 was 1,114,966,000, approximately one-sixth of the world's population.

The worldwide Catholic Church is made up of one Western or Latin and 22 Eastern Catholic autonomous particular churches , all of which look to the Bishop of Rome , alone or along with the College of Bishops , as their highest authority on earth for matters of faith, morals and church governance.It is divided into jurisdictional areas, usually on a territorial basis. The standard territorial unit, each of which is headed by a bishop , is called a diocese in the Latin church and an eparchy in the Eastern churches. At the end of 2006, the total number of all these jurisdictional areas (or "Sees") was 2,782.

The Roman Curia - - usually called the Vatican - - is the administrative apparatus of the Holy See , coordinating and providing the necessary organization for the correct functioning of the Catholic Church and the achievement of its goals. It is generally considered as representing the international government of the Catholic Church.

Curia in medieval and later Latin usage means "court" in the sense of "royal court" rather than "court of law". The Roman Curia, then, sometimes anglicized as Roman Court, is the Papal Court, and assists the Pope in carrying out his functions. The Roman Curia can also be loosely compared to cabinets in governments of countries with a Western form of governance, though it only includes a Foreign 'ministry' (the Secretary of State), the secular internal affairs being handled by separate institutions of the Vatican City State , unlike the earlier Papal States

Canon Njue,Who is now principally a "Minister" in the Vatican Government should come clean and tell Kenyans why he has not raised a finger regarding how the catholic church is being run and why despite being in over 2,782. sees in diverse ethinic,racial and geographical regions the catholic church has not gone up in flames and why they are using the pulpit to instill fear in the people of kenya.

Are Catholics not found in these countries?,Is the position taken by the Kenyan church the official position of the Vatican? And among the systems listed above which specific one is the catholic church opposed to? And why? And isn’t it up to the people of Kenya to choose whichy they want to go.

Countries that keep doing things the same old way will keep on getting the same results?We have had clashes(and there are some on going-Mt.Elgon,Kuresoi etc) and tribalism is rife and all these have nothing to do with the system of government but the morals and the culture of the people that the church with the largest following in this country ought to address.
