Other people claim that Raila Odinga killed Mbai and endulged in the political mileage that it gave to him when he claimed that Kibaki was behind the death. They say that Raila had more to gain from Mbai's death than Kibaki whose ratings came down after the allegation.

Do you remember the case where Jakoyo Midiwo was "shot at" by Kikuyus who wanted to finish Luos? Raila and co rushed to the press accusing the governemnt of planning to kill ODM politicians. He -as he has always- had evidence to back his claim.

Gem MP, Mr Jakoyo Midiwo was last night rushed to a city hospital after gunmen shot at his car, making him lose control and land in a ditch .

This and other forums were full of activity as Raila sympathisers condemned the "attack."

It later emerged that the MP had taken one too many and had a woman who was not his wife in his car in wee hours of the night. The MP saw a mysterious white car (may have been the same white car Raila talks about) trailling him. He went round the roundabout several times and was overcome by the kanywaji. He then heard "gunshots" as his as the air came out of his three tires. He picked up his phone and called the LDP brigade claiming that his life was in danger.

I magine where the country will be if Midiwo had died after making the phone call. Definately Raila could have come out crying saying that the kikuyus were out to finish Luos. Drunk Midiwo could have been added to the list of Luos killed by Kikuyus.

As a national leader, Raila should realise that you cannot jump into conclusions and hype everything in the bid to get political mileage.
