If it's true that Raila Odinga has some annointed friends waiting to be given direct nomination, then that too unfortunate for the Luo's. we know that people like Raila because he stands with them during crucial times and whenever they are being oppressed, but by Raila trying to influence the elections of some unpopular friends is just like practising what he preaches against. Let the people decide who they want to lead them. Mbita needs a leader, Kajwang has been busy singing bado mapambano at the rallies, If Raila want him back to parliament that bad, then nominate him and appoint him a minister in charge of Choir and entertainments.

Rongo people also wants a change, If Jakom wants Ochillo back to parliament then help him win one of the seats in Nairobi- which includes Langata.

Karachuonyo too yawns for a change, If the party wants to reward Adhu Awitti then wait until you form the govt. create a position for him and nobody will question about it.

I admire how in 2002 elections, Kibaki left his close friends like Matere Kereri, Matu Wamae and others to battle it out with the rest of aspirants.
