How Kibaki Shall Fall

Kenyans, as opinion polls ring us to speed on how Kibaki, Raila and Kalonzo have galvanized Kenyan voters, prophecies and astrological predictions would easily shape voting patterns in our elections.

From Elijah Masinde's legacy and historical prophesies on Western Kenya 's electoral process to astrologer Mahendra Shamua's predictions, among many others many Kenyans would soon be treated to long political hugs and electoral kisses on the cheeks of the ballot.

A report courtesy of Reuters for Kenya indicates that politics of the belly among current leaders and stomach worship involving aspiring candidates would certainly be the bane of the game. The analysis reiterates the fear that victory by Raila Odinga who has since sent shock waves in the rival PNU amp may spark political revenge over personal, political and historical differences with former President Moi and Kibaki.

Whereas ordinary Kenyans are seeking genuine change and would like good governance, government has failed to unite and convince the electorate of its alleged good leadership. Locals feel that Raila's explosive tone and calls for a just Kenyan society may be countered by pro-government agents including politicians and businesspersons. The same report also warns against attempts to legally remove the incumbent through an election on the presence of violence, as this could be counter-productive.

It further queries whether Kibaki like Moi would turn up to witness the swearing in of Raila (if he so wins). Part of the report reads.

Now that opinion polls, prophecies and predictions are becoming butter on bread and I favor of the opposition (Raila and ODM), pro-government agents would hunker down this political embarrassment by playing dirty.

Electoral irregularities would be stubbed out by government on ordinary voters as intimidation and arrests coupled with prosecution of members of the opposition take the barbing toll.

On the most asinine, elite thuggery, burglary and violence from questionable agents, government shall use its prescient machinery while doling out goodies to ensure that Kibaki wins, whether elections are held in a free and fair manner or otherwise stated.

In fact Parliament's passing of the Political Parties Bill of 2007 into law would be used to frustrate the opposition when it comes to fundraising and guiding political parties.

The ratings of Raila with 47%, Kibaki 38% and Kalonzo with 8% by Steadman poll have been rubbished as 'analysis of propaganda' by government yet, on Saturday the 29th of September callers on Citizen radio confirmed otherwise claimed as listeners polled on air by giving Raila 78%, Kibaki 19% and Kalonzo 3%. This strong indicator streaks down the opposition's home straight to win popularly. Whether or not Raila would be in with a chance of a sprint double at the polls government may still put in a powerful near finish agility to help pip the oppositionists.

Speculatively government machinery at the polling stations would illegally be present including the Provincial Administration and police. This may give rise to rigging tendencies as the blame goes to ECK officials. May be use of 'ink that can be washed within minutes' and filing to avail enough voting ballot papers in opposition strongholds would buck each other up in favor of government.

Therefore this classic Kenyan's political come-hither pose with electoral checks and ambulance voting synergism and strategies make us to so worry.

With the temptation to go native as we vote would be prolixitely great. We have become miles of as a nation as we take the tribal stride to the ballot box. The gush for political platitudes seems very obsessive even as history gets the edge on us.

To emphasize the same, on June 7th 2007, the Economist website, threw punches on our leadership through an article titled, "Kenya Going Up or Down"?, detailing how illegal land acquisition has exacerbated the problem of squatters and politically instigated land clashes. Road networks finances are not being utilized to improve infrastructure. HIV/AIDS case had increased due to failure to prosecute those who are involved in the disappearance of funds meant to facilitate such projects.

The questionable ownership of Safaricom mobile service provider tat has since made astronomical profits, e.t.c.

Tough the PS, Ministry of Finance (Mr. Kinyua) chose to be defensive over such and many other allegations the government failed to put the right facts on the table against the claims. These choking plumes that underscore government's hand-off leadership not only proves inefficient but able to plunge its citizens in massive desperation and poverty of the most ordinary.

It seems that this type of corruption that comes with elections has opened loopholes to cannily advance human right atrocities toward innocent citizens.

To open the can of worms as the cat is thrown into the pigeons' cage it seems that President Kibaki's close associates are deeply involved in elite corruption including electoral. This powder keg that would soon go off during campaigns and election would be a culprit managed by those who want to maintain the status quo for their selfish ends.

Money that runs into billions and involves high-ranking politicians and businesspersons would paralyze our national coffers and individual pockets. Money from illegal and non-existing contracts to make profits from the sale of IPOs through shares would certainly oil the electoral engines but I favor of the incumbent. It is claimed that the government's intention to sell of Safaricom shares would fetch a profit of Ksh. 34 billion. This certainly contravenes legal procedures of the Privatization Act.

Those involved act as political pillars in as far as providing monies and fundraising for government are precipitating the berth of a major scandal before the December elections.

This desperate resource mobilization and financing by private and non-political entities is but a struggle to hold together government and ensure President Kibaki is re-elected.

Those transacting these financial illegalities quite frankly know that the President and Moi around would not touch them 'when a commission of inquiry is set up to look into the illegal fund-raising for his re-election. This is the extreme move that the President may go.

History reminds us that President Kibaki had one been Minister for Finance and together wit current Minister in that department (Hon. Kimunya), the government would certainly cover up such electoral illegalities this being the last term that his government can run to maintain political supremacy. Intelligence reports indicate that December multiple adverse irregularities for electoral reasons may precipitate varied uncertainties. There is fear that if the President lose, pro-government supporters would not accept to hand over the reins to Raila and ODM (if he so wins) and would most likely unleash 'political tension' or come up with claims of irregularities against the opposition so as to attract sympathy and allow the incumbent to retain power.

Thus it is presumed that a well-orchestrated hate campaign and propaganda by pro-government financiers and supporters may be initiated the time opposition's choppers and hammers take the country's air-space and road network.

On corruption neo-electoral cash cow projects would involve government, politicians and business moguls.

With defective Treasury's internal control systems that touch on management and disbursement of funds to and from government coffers, the means and sources of procurement, debt repayment and budgetary allocation, this department has failed to arrest the deteriorating accountability pillars in all government ministries. It has in succeeding in reducing Kenya into a regional institution which they pilfer wit impunity not worried of the necessity for accountability in the name of political gain and tribal supremacy.

To start with as proof of the pudding, the Principal Immigration officer, Mr. Joseph Ndathi who is responsible for issuance if work permits and citizenship documents and who is based at the Ministry of Immigration and Registration of Persons offices, is responsible for the influx of illegal immigrants into the country.

This cash-cow project initiated for political and personal gain involves immigration to Kenya of illegal persons of Asian, Somali and Ethiopian origins.

Shockingly immigrants of Asian origin easily buy their citizenship at Ksh. 500,000 to Ksh. 700,000 for work permits. Identity cards (ID) are easily given as soon as they arrive in the country. Those seeking to settle in the country are advised to fake 'death' and 'marriages' of relatives. Those within pretend to leave the country for India and Pakistan for 'weddings and marriage' only to comeback with other illegal immigrants as' wife or husband' and fake marriage certificates.

With the corrupt aware tat Central Bank may intervene in their financial illegalities they now transact their dealings through local private financial institutions, banks and foreign exchange bureaus.

With the corrupt aware that Central Bank may intervene in their financial illegalities they now transact their dealing through local private financial banks and foreign exchange bureaus apart from wiring monies through the Internet.

Also the Somali crisis has exacerbated more corruption involving massive immigration into the country of Somali persons and illegal sugar importation into the country through the port of Mombasa. Others deal in importation of small arms. Hard rugs and have terrorism links.

Many other illegal immigrants are smuggled into the country in a flourishing international human trafficking trade that nets millions of shillings right under the noses of the authorities.

Such dealings remind us of he Goldenberg and Anglo Leasing scandals involving senior government officials who interfered with investigations fearing that if other senior people in cabinet were implicated the government would fall.

Sad still the government's intelligence machinery and KACC's Controller an Auditor General evidently knew the players in these scams yet investigations never bore any fruits. In fact, files of culprits were prevented from being handed over to the AG for prosecution. Other instances involved delay in handing over reports made to KACC director, Justice (rtd) Aaron Ringera for further action.

French astrologer, Nostradamus Micheal inspires brain ells of many a person with accuracy. Certainly astrology more than guesswork, witchcraft and faith is scientific and which needs a lot of time and energy to calculate and reconfirm by use of planets, including the Kenyan Earth.

To m mind the planetary chat shows a great future for Musalia Mdavadi and Uhuru Kenyatta though this time round the cards favor Raila Odinga in as far as presidency in concerned.

Nonetheless let is visit the Armenian planet. The former home of drug traffickers and international con men, the Artur brothers. The ones who had been recording indecent videos and had photos with Kenyan females celebrities. As the slept with out girlfriends and wives-to-be, our male folk gave them a hand only to be rewarded with addictive narcotics, black money and cheap macho-ism. Surprisingly, musicians, artists, models and producers including those affiliated to Vijana Tugutuke fell victim to their wine and food from the moguls.

Some youth still have monies from Kensington Holdings Ltd. and Broterlink Intenational. Recently police unearthed a secret laboratory used to manufacture the addictive drug Mandrax at Kiserian and equipment together with chemicals found.

What about monies that used to fund projects are referral hospitals, athletics an football federations, high altitude training camps for athletes, mainstream churches with foreign links, charity clubs, NGOs, children's homes and rehabilitation centers, among many others.

Are these projects that are directly funded by foreigners being used to fundraise government's political campaigns? Have they been paying 'protection fees' to get favors in order to continue swindling innocent sponsors of their money for selfish and rather individual gain?

May be this is a prediction, prophesy and an opinion poll that would come with campaigns and elections.

Let us face the facts and leave hypocrisy to the dogs as we prepare to vote come December. Otherwise, your prediction is your genuine vote.
