Re: We love being lied to

From: Obungu Rapemo

Rodgers,

There is another principle of justice that you need to keep in mind before you lynch Mr. Ruto and Raila in your court of Justice-the presumption of innocense until proven guilty. By now, we all know that if it was up to you, everyone who have been in public office would go to jail.  Your frustration will continue because the real world is more complex for your simple naive principles to be applied.  Kenyans know about the past but they also understand that the solution is not going to be quick justice.

The fact that Paul used to prosecute christians did not stop him from being a good christian.

The priority of most Kenyans is change and that is why Kibaki is going to lose.  When Kibaki was elected, it was not because he was an angel but Kenyans believed him when he said he was going to bring about change.

When the Majority of Kenyans vote for ODM this year, it will not be because they are angels but because Kenyans believe them when they say they will bring about change.

Just remember that Kenyan voters have the same information that you have and they will have to make a choice not between angels and devils but between those whom they believe will bring change and those whom they believe will continue the status quo.

Obungu
