ECK must bear its own burden

In the recent past, we have heard alot of complaints from people who say that their names were either mis spelt, or something when they went for voter registration. We must clearly put the blame where it belongs.

When you go to an ECK clerk, and present your ID card so as to register as a voter, it is the responsibility of that clerk to correctly document your entries, and give you a valid voters card.

It is not your responsibilty to ensure that the ECK clerk does his job well. He is being paid by ECK to do that job, and all resposibilty of correct date and name entries lies with that clerk, hence with ECK, and not with the voter.

All Kenyans who have registered as voters must hence come out and vote in their respective stations of choice as they so wished. They must not be denied the pleasure of voting out this current regime.

Kenyans have decided, and we will come as one come the voting day, and our collective will as ODM will prevail. We must all be our brother's keeper, and ensure that ECK does not play any ping pong games with our intelligence.

The ECK must face their short comings and cope with it. They must not be allowed to victimise Kenyans over their own ineptness.

Again, in the recent past, Kiraitu, Karua, Mwiraria, Kireri, Murungaru and their colleagues have pitched tent in calling upon our Kikuyu brothers to come out in large numbers and vote in safe guarding 'their' presidency.

To them, Kibaki's office is 'theirs' to safe guard. In their narrow matrix, they have failed to see all other Kenyans. If this is not tribalism, then, I do not know what tribalism is all about.

Kenyans must be on the look out, and fix this thing once and for all.

As Kenyans, lets come out and vote, and ensure that your vote is not casted in favour of these tribalists who think that Kenya is for them to protect.

I recently visited a VCT clinic, and was happy when I was diagnosed ODM+ve. I was adviced that whosoever will recieve this message will automatically be infected. So please, infect as many people to ensure that the future ia absolutely Orange.
