HOW CANDIDATE RAILA ODINGA THINKS ABOUT THE KALENJIN AND LUYIA PEOPLE

Dear Kalenjin readers,

It is regrettable that I have to post this in this forum.

The article, A shocking interview: Obiero interviews Raila Odinga while on his US tour recently, can be read in the " JALUO.COM " September 30, 2007.

It is a true picture of how Raila and many of his kinsmen think about the Kalenjin community.

I can not even imagine that, Raila thinks of the Kalenjin people as such. ' ILLITERATE '. Raila should realize that he is not the President yet. And he ought to know that ,these type of arrogance and attitudes does not do any good, to his ambitions, to the Luo community, or to Kenya. Further more Mr. Raila, the same herdsmen-whom you mention with such disdain does not need you, it is you who needs their votes! Curtail your utterances before it causes a great deal of harm to your ambitions.

You, Raila, make it impossible for many of us who have all along suppoted you, to justify our cause and a continuing support for you! We do expect an explanation from you and a serious apollogy to our community!

Good will people are put off by these type of stupid thoughts. It goes along way to show why many people go as far as to say, Luos can not lead. Prudent politician can never utter those type of thoughts.

For instance, Raila-or his advisers should wizen him, and offer him better advice, vis a vie; you never, ever use Cuba or Venezuela While you are in the U.S.A. as the models of Freedom. Every word a presidential candidate utters is put under a micro-analysis. The Americans are not about to welcome another HUGO CHAVEZ, in Africa.

If Raila wants to be a Kenyan President, he should stop childish utterances.

And for the Luyia brothers, you are shaming yourself, to naively believe that you shall attain the Kenyan leadership using the other tribes. It is a fallacy that shall only perpetuate a stereotype-Luyias can never unite or stand by themselves.

You do not need Luos or any other tribe to stand and show leadership!
