Re: 48 long years of suffering!

Dear friends,

It seems to be that a majority of us take God's many blessings for granted. If anything, we whine and complain more than we appreciate. Come to think about it,the things that we whine about don't really count, or do they?

As we come to the end of yet another year of our lives, we will do well to take a few minutes and ask our selves "How much would I have done with the help of God?"

When was the last time that you counted your blessings?

I recently read a story that truly touched me and made me cry. It was a story of this man who died last week after spending 48 years in the hospital bed. He was born blind,with weak legs to support his body and hands that would not help much.Abandoned by his family, some missionary took him to the hospital where he spent 48 years.

During those many years, no family member came to see him. The good news though is that the man of Galilee did not leave him alone.The hospital staff were friendly and very supportive too-God bless their hearts.

He died with this hope of seeing his Lord and Savior when time shall be no more! Praise the Lord.

May I appeal to you to please stop and think before you whine of anything from now hence. Will you?
