Confusion and tension has engulfed Kisumu Town West constituency with local party officials and a clique of ODM pentagon members being accused of openly backing a NARC candidate Rosa Buyu instead of the party’s nominee John Olago Aluoch.

Adding credence to the claim was this week’s colourful campaign launching by Rosa Buyu where her campaign brigade pitched camp at the ODM Branch office and signed visitors book before they started a massive procession along the city streets.

Although no single party official was present to receive her, but enthusiastic party youths offered all they could to ensure Buyu’s presence was felt. Local party branch officials Dave Okwatch (Chairman) and organizing secretary Isaya Onyango when contacted for comment confirmed that Buyu had sojourned in the office without there blessings adding that there bid to tell Buyu otherwise was met with hostility and arrogance from the Nairobi based Business Woman.

A pedestrian talk currently doing rounds in the terrain has it that cronies allied to the immediate former MP Rev.Ken Nyagudi led by his former CDF Manager Mr. David Arao have been holding endless goat eating sessions in leading restaurants to ensure Rosa Buyu is elected through hook or crook instead of ODM nominee Lawyer John Olago Aluoch come December 27th 2007 polls.

We could not immediately establish whether the move to scuttle Olago’s political wings has fool blessing of the ODM top hierarchy as being claimed by some quarters.

For starters NARC party is associated with ODM pentagon member Charity Ngilu and was recently given nod to nominate in ODM to avert what pundits termed as fallouts
