Hello Friends and Colleagues,
 
As some of you will already be aware, I am in the race for the Rangwe Parliamentary seat in Kenya’s forthcoming general elections. I have been on the campaign trail over the past 3 months, and all indications are that I have very high chances of recapturing the seat I once held for 5 years between 1997 and 2002. Moreover, there is a very high chance that if I do, I could be Kenya’s next Minister for ICT/Telecoms, or Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Communications/Infrastructure. These would enable me to give my all best to the sub/sector, not only for the benefit of the Rangwe Constituents, but also the wider Kenyan community, and the Eastern/African region generally.
 
As for now, the only one likely drawback is limited campaign resources, which could lessen our capacity to head for a clean sweep. It is in this regard that am making a final appeal ahead of the party nominations/primaries coming up next Friday 16/11/07 . Given the political terrain pertaining, a win in the primaries is almost a guarantee to a win in the final elections due on 27/12/07. It is my sincere hope that you will be able to join us in ensuring this eminent victory by lending both your moral and material support - and of course prayers.
