The ODM Presidential Candidate concedes early defeat in the Dec 27, 2007
Presidential general election.

According to the Article carried by the STANDARD NEWSPAPER dated November 29, 2007, 12:00 ,( http://www.eastandard.net/news )

ODM presidential candidate, Mr Raila Odinga, has alleged a succession plot between President Kibaki and Kanu chairman, Mr Uhuru Kenyatta.( http://www.eastandard.net/news )

Raila Odinga has indicated signs of conceding defeat in the Dec 27, 2007 presidential general election. Raila Odinga is shifting his focus from 2007 presidential election to 2012 presidential election. He is now concerned that he will not win the 2012 election because Uhuru will take over from Kibaki come 2012.

The fact that Raila is seeing Uhuru as taking over from Kabaki come 2012, strongly resonates with his gut feelings that he will NOT win the Dec 27, 2007 Presidential election. Otherwise, he would be talking of how he will beat Uhuru in 2012. To this end, we wish Raila well as enters the sunset days of his political career,

"The ODM candidate said he would build a second port in Lamu and expand the airport to international standards to boost tourism and open up the north Coast" http://www.eastandard.net/news )

This statement does not hold any water because, Raila did not tell the Lamu people how he was going to pay for the construction of the new port, expansion of the airport to international standards. Whereas the statement sounds good, the failure to articulate the strategy execution capability leaves all of us to believe that this is another rhetoric, DOMO, and pure political gimmick and deceit.

"On majimbo, Raila said propaganda had been used to demonise the system, adding that federalism would ensure financial resources benefited the whole country"

Under the Kibaki's administration, each constituency has at its disposal millions of shillings under the CDF initiative. In our opnion, federalism will expand the government, increase government expenditure, and leave no funds for essential services like the military, the police, health, education, and food security..

Based on what we have gathered, Raila is trumpeting the majimboism because of the MOU he signed with the Muslims. The grand objective is to turn the country into an Islamic state under the Sharia law. Balala said majimbo would be a reality under the Sharia Law in an ODM government and told Kenyans to ignore calls to reject it . (http://www.eastandard.net/news/?id=1143978139 )

Balala is stands to be the greatest beneficiary of the MOU between RAILA and Muslims. According to the MOU, Balala would be the Governnor of both Coast and North Eastern States. Blala said the majimbo system was unstoppable and Kenyans would embrace the system once Raila formed the government under the Sharia Law, the Islamic law.
