Dear Dr. Alfred Mutua
 
For the love of my country, I am going to respond to your e-mail without fear or favour.To borrow from the South African political icon, Nelson Mandela, Kenyans cherish the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons will live together in harmony with equal opportunities.......this is an ideal which Kenyans hope to live for, and to see realised. But  Lord, if needs be, it is an ideal for which Kenyans are prepared to die.
 
I know that you are paid all those thousands of shillings for doing nothing while Kenyans whose taxes contribute to your huge pay bill are suffering and going without food, clothing and shelter. My learned friend, it is a shame. You are a disgrace to your generation.
 
I am told by those who know you that you are an educated man who is boasting of a PhD credential, but from your actions in defence of a government that is not responsive to the needs of her people, you are not different from Muli Mutysia, Ezekiel Bargetuny or Kariuki Chotara who came before you. In short, you are a disgrace to your peasant parents who toiled to take you to school.
 
I was dumpfounded but not surprised to read from you that I should delete the e-mail address for the Office of Public Communications, Government of Kenya  from my e-mail listing. Why should I do this? Are you not being paid to provide answers to the concerns and questions from Kenyans?
 
I was dumpfounded because the office of Public Communications is not your personal toilet. This is a public office paid for by the people of Kenya and I am one of them. Everything that you are enjoying in that office is not your right but a privilege that can be taken away any time by the Kenyan people whom you do not care about. Mutua, if in deed you are as educated as your title shows, you should have known better that you are in that office to serve Kenyans, the tax payers and not to lord over them.
 
On the other hand, I was not surprised because you are a victim of circumstaces. You are working for a group of people who are living in an era long gone. The by-gone and past era where Wanjiku was only to be seen and not to be heard. Therefore, your main pre-occupation is to fill your stomach as much as time allows. As the peope whom you are serving, you believe in the politics of the stomach and not the politics of prosperity of a nation.
 
Anyway, by not being able to deal with issues of concerns addressed to you in your capacity as the government mouth-piece, and instead you are resorting to draconian actions like asking me to delete a government e-mail address from my e-mail listing, you have proved that you are incompetent and therefore unable to run that docket. If the government that you are serving would be one that is responsive to the needs of the people that put it there, Mutua, you would be gone back to Saudi Arabia a long time time.
 
Please, are you really in your senses when you are asking me to tell you why Kenyans have rejected President Kibaki. It is not just me, but Kenyans  in general are saying no to the politics of deception.
 
It is not just me who hate Kibaki but Kenyans who voted for Kibaki in 2002 with a hope for better future. It is not just me who hates Kibaki but Kenyans whom Kibaki promised a rainbow government that is representative of the Kenyan mosiac. Therefore it became a shock to the Kenyans when the majority of those who are employed by this administration come from Kibaki's own ethnic community.
 
It is not just me who hate Kibaki but the Kenyans who were promised after the landslide victory during the December 2002 general election that the era of roadside declarations were over. It is unbelievable that Kenyans have been given a lot more bogus districts and universities in 4 years more than what Moi created in the 24 years of his wasted years of presidency.
 
It is not just me who hate Kibaki but the rest of Kenyans who were promised a government that will ensure that corruption is history in Kenya. So when just after one year of Kibaki's administration the people of Kenyan got robbed through Anglo Leasing what do you expect?
 
Mutua, I have a question for you, please can you honestly tell Kenyans what is the main reason why Moi, Uhuru Kenyatta, Nicholas Biwott, S. Nyachae, et al have all ganged up together to support Kibaki's re-election. Is it not that all of the above want corruption iendelee?
 
As for what I will do if Kibaki wins the December 2007 election. I want to confirm that there is no possibility, even remotely, for that to happen. Kibaki will lose the December 2007 elections hands down.
 
However, Kenyans are aware that there is a possibility of rigging the polls. God forbid. My advise to you is that let this not happen because Kenyans are prepared to defend their young democracy at whatever cost. We, the people's power will ensure that the will of the majority Kenyans prevail during December 27, 2007 Election. If there are those who are planning to rig the coming election, let them be warned that they will regeret severely for the consequences of their actions will regretable.
 
Mutua, I wish you well since your days in that office are numbered.
