THANKS, BUT LET'S LIBERATE OURSELVES FROM HERO WORSHIP SO WE CAN STAY SOBER TO INTERROGATE AND AUDIT OUR POLITICIANS. RAILA WON'T BE ANYBODY'S MESSIAH IF WE DON'T PUT DEMANDS ON HIM.

HAPPY JAMHURI DAY.

Thanks Omtatah,

I wrote a deeper reflection on 2003 January about not celebrating Kibaki yet and asking for more vigilance but I was harshly called a tribal pessimist...even before the cabinet list came out.

some of us are in the race to parliamentary seats and will join the behaviour of the Kibwanas, Mbarires, Njokis etc or PSs or Commissions etc.

We should find ways of even strenthening the CSOs even further because if you look at the nomination fiasco and the party politic, we will not have a formidable opposition.

Great philosophies from Omtatah and Ombok,

What Kenya needs is strong peoples' institutions including political parties. Currently we are so weak that we shall always be swept by the political currents , which we must remember are geared to safeguarding the interests of whoever wins the elections.

Great Jamhuri, towards free, peaceful and fair elections
