Preparation for Election Day: SIMPLE ELECTION PREPARATION TIPS AND ODM VOTING PROCEDURES

1.    Go to market places or main places of gathering and ask everyone to Get Out and Vote.
2.    Organize volunteers in advance of voting day, get foot solders to go door to door to mobilize people to ensure they Get Out and Vote.
3.    Start this voter Mobilization  process and use that uniform process across the nation for it create a successful impact .
4.    Voter should double check to make sure they have their ID and Voter’s Card Ready. They do not need to wait until the last minute to look for them
5.    Check who has voter’s cards and zero in on them.
6.    Know your polling Station
7.    Collect emails or telephone numbers to spread the message.
8.    Maximize the use of text messaging system-SMS
9.    Arrange for transport, Volunteer or paid.
10.  Create and designate a central collection point where volunteer vehicles will pick up people to ferry them to their designated polling stations
11.  Implore voters to postpone all major activities on Election Day or the night before for a few hours so that they can Get Out and  Vote;
12.  Those in the rural who own Cows, Goats, Sheep or any other animal needing their attention can go and vote first then come back and take care of them.
13. Volunteers to help transport the sick and old to the polling stations
14. In areas where Fishermen work the lake at night, they can hold off until after elections,
15.  Pay supporters or ask some volunteers to prepare porridge/mandazi, maize and beans at or close to the Polling station to help those who may have left their homes without breakfast, tell them that apart from them voting this will be a very big contribution they will be making for towards Change.
16.  Arrange for or supply volunteers with whistles, trumpets, drums to be used to alert and help readiness to Get Out And Vote
17.  Advise all (youth and adults) to abstain from alcohol for two days until after they cast their votes. Tell them opponents have sinister motives and may drug them through liquor to deny them their right to vote for our Candidate.
18.  Organize volunteers in advance and of voting day, foot solders for door to door to mobilize people to ensure they get out and vote.
19.  Create and designate a central collection point where volunteer vehicles will pick people up to ferry  their designated polling station
20.  Request those with bicycle, vehicles, matatus, Buses hires tractors, motorcycles, donkey drawn carts to volunteer transport others to the poll station and there should be a central collection point.
21.  Word should get out that this is a VERY important Day in our Lifetime more than ever before!
22.  Get youth leaders in each household. Clan, Village Sub location etc and
23.  Appoint trusted overseer volunteers to coordinate the foot solders and to educate to on Election procedures thereby abiding by ECK rules so that we are not at any time found to be at fault.
24.  The leaders must be astute, thorough and dedicated
25.  Make it a competition for the clan leaders how many they get bring out to Vote.
26.  Supporters should be vigilant and watchful for any irregularities at the polls.
27.  Employ the use of video cameras at polling stations to deter rigging attempts. The clips can later be used as evidence incase of rigging.
28.  Design more simple ways of Getting Out the Vote..
29.  Advise the voters to avoid chaos and not risk violence
30.  Vote for change, and it we expect change in these different
31.  Educate voters to look for the following before they cast their vote.
32.  Look for the Symbol (ONE ORANGE)
