Re: If you were Honourable Raila, what would you have done?

Dear fellow Kenyans,

There are decisions in life that are just too complicated to make. Either way,will please some and annoy others.

Today,I found myself thinking seriously about the challenges facing Honourable Raila.

Like him or hate him,we can all agree that Honourable Raila has behaved well. In what way?

1.He has called for only peaceful demonstration.
2.Not wanting confrontation with the Govt, he has called off demonstrations three times now.
3. He has made an appeal to his supporters not to be involved in any chaos.

All these despite the fact that:

1.He has a very strong case. There is sufficient evidence to back up his claims.
2.His party has the majority members of parliament.
3.He is well respected world wide.
4.His word alone can cause un told damage.

But Honourable Raila faces insurmountable challenges. Not that he doesn't know what's the right thing to do,but that whichever decision he makes will affect both Kenya and the world at large.

On one hand,there are those who don't want to hear of GNU as that will be a betrayal. They have several factors to back up their argument.

On the other hand,there are those who sense that any more delay will make things worse. There are many who subscribe to this school of thought.

And so I ask. If you were Honourable Raila,what would you have done.?

As for me,I don't want to be in his shoes.But there is one thing that I will do for him,pray that the good Lord give him wisdom and understanding to know how proceed.

My prayers and thoughts to all Kenyans.
