Kalonzo's Miracle Is Kenya's Curse!

I refer to an article by some concerned Kenyan written from Atlanta GA on Kalonzo's role in 2007 presidential election.

I believe that Brother Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has now conceded that he added greatly to the confusion and pain in the 2007 elections outcome. He knew he had no foreseeable ability, even in supernatural sense to win. But he definitely knew he had a pre-election deal with PNU. His anxiety that ECK chairman declares the winner in spite of the weighty objections raised by ODM is a pointer. Furthermore, it is now evident that he is one of the few 'men of integrity', who has not raised any concern over the irregularities at the ECK desk on 29th and 30th December (acknowledged even by ECK chairman). Instead he has a major role to play in the proposed PNU government.

If Kalonzo had swallowed his pride, and out of sheer patriotism to this Nation, joined PNU at the time that rumours were ripe, the Kibaki victory would never have been so mischievously and crudely worked out (assuming that at least half of the lower Eastern Province voters voted for PNU on his account). There would have been no need for Kibaki to rule using the gun as has been the case within the last week or so.

Looked at from the other divide, if Brother Kalonzo again out of sheer patriotism to this Nation swallowed his pride and remained part of the ODM family, the gap between ODM and PNU would have been so conspicuously wide; only comparable with the Uhuru / Kibaki gap of 2002. Even with vote thefts the difference in the polls outcome between the two main parties would have been quite significant, even if the announcement of the final results were delayed for a further 4 days.

It is my submission that Steve's politics, though to him and his supporters made good political sense, contributed immensely to the on-going crisis within many parts of the country. Brother Steve, it is now common knowledge that many Kenyans have died, some burnt alive in places of worship. Woe unto anyone who played any role in these! Brother Steve, as a Christian, you can bet these would never have happened if you acted in wisdom!
