The MP-elect for Ainamoi, Hon. David Kimtai Too has been shot dead in Eldoret. It is presumed that it was a relationship related death. He met his dead at around 12 noon on Thusday around West Indies Estate where they were found having a chat.

It is believed that he had a relationship with a lady traffic officer who was also the policemans's girlfriend and was in civilian outfit by the time of the incident.

The traffic policeman was attached at the Eldoret Police station and is in police custody as investigations take center stage.

After the incident Eldoret town turned out to be a running battle with policeman for the residents of Eldoret were saddened by the incident.

May vehicles abandoned their businesses and many closed shops fearing that violence would errupt. Police took an early step to quell the violence that had started to be felt. Bonfires were lit on some streets as police helped contain the situation.
