RUTO, KOSGEI AND OTHERS TARGETED! [based on news analysis]

Our leaders are targets of prosecution on drummed up charges of leading the people who attacked Kikuyus in Rift Valley.

Ruto and Kosgei in particular and any popular Kalenjin leaders are accused of leading the killings.The government plans to have them prosecuted in the International Criminal Court at the Hague.

The idea here is actually meant to decapitate Kalenjin leadership so that RVP can be controlled easily. PNU believes that if popular leadership in RVP is destroyed, controlling the region will be easy.

Q. Why target RVP? A. The answer is simple:Economy. The region is the national source of milk , cereal, tea, etc. With current leadership, the government will not be able to impose its will and demands on the people hence the need to destroy current leadership and imposition of puppets.

On the other hand, if plans to arrest and charge Ruto and friends never work, assassinations may be attempted.

Moi, Mungatana, Karua, Mutula Kilonzo, et tal have had utterances that support prosecution of RVP leaders. The assumption is that RVP residents wouldn't have fought the way they did without being captained by their recently elected leaders. Also, targeting Ruto as a person has Moi's invisible hand of support. The whole plan is meant to destroy Kalenjin leadership that does not conform or subscribe to Moi's philosophy of Moi-Alone-In -Rift-Valley and Kibaki's doctrine of bringing RVP under subjection of Mt Kenyans for their own economic gains.
